Ceremony
It was important to us to include our little man in our Wedding ceremony & make him feel special. We wanted to share our love & devotion for him with our closest friends & family.
Our pledge to our beautiful baby boy…
Oliver Archer, we knew before we saw you or held you that you were special.
A new beginning , not only in your life but our also.
So small, so delicate, with a lifetime ahead to grow.
Our love & encouragement will be with you every step.
We know that in time you will seek your own hopes and dreams.
Remember we will be there to laugh or dry a tear.
Listening, reassuring & loving you always.
This was such a special moment- emotional, raw & straight from the heart.
My saving grace
For the majority of the ceremony Oliver played with his cousins in the sand.
We had structured his morning to include a beach play followed by a nap. This ensured he wasn’t over stimulated by the beach setting & was well rested.
At one point he wanted to be with us & that was totally ok. We loved that he made himself a part of our special moment.
Planning is key
Flower posies were a great accessory for the flower girls to hold. Holding them made them less nervous as they lead my bride tribe down the aisle.
We decided on the day to have Oliver waiting for me under the arbour with daddy to eliminate the possibility of him not wanting to walk beside the flower girls. I am really glad we did this as the look on his little face when he first saw his mummy in her “princess dress’ was just about as heart melting as the look on his daddy’s face.
Further more we packed lollipops & bubbles to enhance the fun factor , as a result Malin was able to capture the most vibrant & fun memories on film!
This is a service we now offer along side our Custom Wedding Dress service.
Besides stealing the show, Lili was also a perfect angel during the ceremony.
Reception
The vibe at our wedding reception was amplified by the fun & laughter of the special children in our lives.
Lost Palms Brewing also secured the front gate to ensure the kids could run free & everyone could happily relax. BEST CHILD FRIENDLY VENUE EVER!
Including kids in our big day made the experience magical. I hope i have inspired you to create everlasting memories with the special little people in your life!
